Tangerang, June 9, 2024 - The Kemala Run 2024 held at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD has successfully gathered thousands of participants from various backgrounds to run together in promoting a healthy lifestyle and unity. With the theme "Run for Unity, Run for Health," this event has become a lively and spirited sports occasion.
Thousands of participants of all ages and backgrounds gathered at ICE BSD since early morning. The race categories offered, ranging from 5K, 10K, to Half Marathon (21K), received a very positive response from the participants. The Family Run category (3K) also attracted many families who wanted to enjoy quality time while exercising together.
Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD) actively participated in the success of Kemala Run 2024. As one of the most prestigious business districts in Jakarta, SCBD provided full support for the smooth running of this event.
The event started with registration and a warm-up session led by professional fitness instructors. Following that, Mrs. Siti Rahmawati, Chairwoman of the Kamala Foundation, delivered an inspiring opening speech encouraging all participants to enjoy every moment of the event.
The races started promptly with the Half Marathon (21K) category flagged off at 06:30, followed by the 10K, 5K, and finally the Family Run (3K). The well-prepared route around the ICE BSD area provided a fun and safe running experience for all participants.
After the races, participants and visitors enjoyed various entertainment and supporting activities that we had prepared. Live music performances by local bands and DJs added to the lively atmosphere. The food truck area and culinary booths were also favorites among participants who wanted to enjoy food and drinks after running.
For children, there was a Kids Zone with various fun games and activities. Many participants also captured moments at the photo booth provided with the backdrop theme of Kemala Run 2024.
We at SCBD extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants, sponsors, and partners who supported this event. The success of Kemala Run 2024 would not have been possible without the active participation and enthusiasm of all involved.

In an effort to enhance disaster preparedness capacity, BPBD DKI Jakarta, APAD Indonesia, in collaboration with Artha Graha Peduli and the SCBD Area, organized a highly beneficial Occupational Health and Safety (K3) Training activity. This training focused on readiness during disaster conditions, particularly in public facilities and high-rise buildings.
Two-Day Training: Full of Enthusiasm and Dynamics
This two-day training was conducted with great excitement and interaction. In addition to comprehensive theory sessions, participants were also engaged in dynamic group discussions. The aim of these discussions was to enhance the knowledge and skills of high-rise building employees in the SCBD Area regarding K3. Thus, they can be more prepared and responsive in facing disaster situations.
Participants, consisting of employees from various high-rise buildings in the SCBD Area and also representatives from BPBD DKI Jakarta, showed high enthusiasm throughout the training. They actively asked questions and shared experiences, making the training atmosphere highly interactive and productive. The topics covered included various important aspects of K3, ranging from fire prevention, emergency evacuation, to first aid.
Joint Commitment to Preparedness
The collaboration between BPBD DKI Jakarta, APAD Indonesia, Artha Graha Peduli, and the SCBD Area demonstrates a joint commitment to creating a prepared and responsive environment in disaster situations. This training is expected to be a crucial initial step in cultivating disaster awareness and improving preparedness among the community, especially in public facilities and high-rise buildings.
With the knowledge and skills gained from this training, participants are expected to apply them in their respective workplaces. This is not only for their own safety but also for the safety of all building occupants.

In order to welcome International Women's Day coinciding with Kartini Day, on April 21, 2024, the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) organized the event "Women's Run Day". This event not only served as a running competition but also as a celebration of empowering women, fostering unity, and camaraderie among women.
The "Women's Day Run 2024" event was opened by the Vice Chairman of DPR RI, Muhaimin Iskandar, popularly known as Cak Imin. In his opening speech, Cak Imin expressed pride in Indonesian women who have made remarkable contributions in various fields. He emphasized his belief in the strength and potential of Indonesian women to continue achieving success.
With a route passing through several iconic landmarks of Jakarta, "Women's Day Run 2024" had a unique course that included the SCBD area, the business center that is an economic icon of Jakarta. Starting from the grounds of DPR RI, participants crossed through the SCBD area known for its integrated business district that is safe and comfortable.
"Women's Day Run 2024" was not just about sports and competition but also served as a platform to strengthen solidarity and sisterhood among women. Participants of various ages and backgrounds ran with high spirits and enthusiasm.
The presence of SCBD itself as part of the race route aimed to provide a unique experience for participants. SCBD contributed to witnessing unity and the spirit of togetherness fostered during "Women's Day Run 2024". It is hoped that this event can inspire more women to lead healthier and more active lifestyles, while strengthening solidarity among Indonesian women.
