Artha Graha Peduli (AGP), together with the Artha Graha Network, once again reaffirmed its commitment to environmental preservation through active participation in the global Earth Hour 2026. In this year’s commemoration, Artha Graha Peduli encourages all business units, partners, employees, and the public to conserve energy for 90 minutes by turning off lights and limiting non-essential electricity usage simultaneously.
Participation in Earth Hour has become a routine agenda for Artha Graha Peduli and all business units within the Artha Graha Network. In previous implementations, the simultaneous Earth Hour activities successfully recorded significant energy savings and became part of tangible efforts to reduce carbon emissions. In 2026, Earth Hour Indonesia carries the theme “Give Space for the Earth,” which aligns with the values upheld by Artha Graha Peduli.
“This commitment also continues previous campaigns that encouraged the public to save energy and water through the ‘Switch Off’ movement as part of collective awareness toward environmental sustainability,” said Heka Hertanto, Senior of Artha Graha Peduli.
Through this 90-minute energy-saving action, it is expected to prevent 195 tons of carbon from being released into the Earth’s atmosphere. Artha Graha Peduli hopes to strengthen collective awareness that such joint efforts can create a significant impact on reducing carbon emissions, improving energy efficiency, and preserving the environment sustainably.
This concrete step and commitment are part of Artha Graha Peduli’s ongoing dedication to implementing social responsibility programs focused on environmental care. Its CSR initiatives cover environmental, social, economic, legal, and justice issues, with one of the main pillars being environmental awareness.
